Let me start by saying I hope everyone reading this is safe and healthy. Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably noticed our entire world is going through a crisis right now. We here at Revisions have been working to navigate what our new normal looks like. I can't help but feel like I'm living in a bad movie.
As many of you know, in addition to selling our ceramics online, Revisions also operates a brick and mortar showroom in downtown Marquette. We also just recently expanded and opened a second location, REVIVAL. Because of the governor's lockdown to attempt to "flatten the curve" both of our storefronts are closed until at least the middle of April.
This has posed quite the challenge for our small business. Virtually overnight 2/3rd of our cash flow just went POOF! Gone! Since then, we have been working hard to move some of our local product offerings online. Please take a look and see if something catches your eye. We are still shipping orders 2-3 times/week. Bringing in any online sales will really help us weather this storm. A few other updates:
- All of the classes and workshops we had planned for April and May have been postponed :( We are working to put together a few "virtual" options of these classes, so stay tuned! Many will be rescheduled as soon as life gets back to normal
- We are also working to put together more activity kits to keep you busy during this time of lockdown. These will be do at home versions of some of the workshops we offer. Look for those to debut next week.
- If there is anything you need, please do not call the shop, instead, email or message us. We will only be in a few times a week to water the plants.
I cannot stress enough how much I miss seeing our customers and their smiling faces around our community. It's times like these that really make me appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support over the years. Try to keep your head up and remember, there is only so much of this situation we have control over. Stay home and stay safe. We will be back! xoxo -Michele
